Vito La Fata

Vito La Fata is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management, international cooperation, and youth work. He currently serves as the Founder and Director of LAND, a social enterprise in Palermo, Italy.

Previously, Vito held the position of President and Director of CESIE, a non-governmental organization, where he managed a team of up to 70 staff members engaged in long-term projects, coordinating the financial and operational management of the organization.

In his role, Vito provided inspired leadership, developed CESIE’s organizational culture and vision, and fostered an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale. He also defined and led the organization’s strategies for international network-building, international partnership-building, and fundraising activities.

Vito’s expertise extends to the field of Euro-Med cooperation, where he has been a trainer and coordinator for various Euro-Med youth programs, exchanges, trainings, and events in Italy and different EU, Mediterranean, and international contexts.

Academically, Vito holds a BA and MA in Communication Science from the University of Palermo, Faculty of Educational Sciences, with a focus on communication, semiotics, sociology, anthropology, and the science of politics. He also obtained an MA in Mediterranean Politics and Economics from the L.U.I.S.S. Libera Università Italo-Araba di Palermo (Free Italian-Arab University of Palermo), specializing in economic and cultural relations among European and Mediterranean countries.

In addition to his professional and educational achievements, Vito is a skilled trainer in Euro-Med youth work and management, with expertise in vocational training, pedagogic planning, intercultural learning, project management, and networking within the Euro-Med Youth Programme.
